Crossroads assists teens and young adults with educational needs in two ways:
Crossroads works with teens and young adults who are currently enrolled in high school or college and are struggling. Once they reach out for support, Crossroads’ social workers figure out how to help get them the extra support that they need, while at the same time involving the necessary overlapping systems, such as the school or the parents.
For students who are interested in completing their GED (General Education Development), the equivalency of a U.S. high school diploma, we offer a GED preparatory course on Monday and Wednesday nights from 6:00 PM- 8:00 PM. The GED is the equivalent of receiving a valid high school diploma. Therefore, after passing the GED exam, a teen or young adult can apply to American or Israeli colleges, be more equipped to find a job, and experience an overall greater sense of achievement in their lives. To find out more about our GED program, please call our office at 02-624-6265.
