Israeli Warrior Wellness Program
The overall goal of the Israeli Warrior Wellness Program is to provide comprehensive, accessible, and tailored care that addresses the mental health needs of soldiers before, during, and after their service in the current war as well and support to soldiers in the reserves.
This program includes the following services.
- One-Time Crisis Intervention: This service offers immediate, short-term support for soldiers experiencing acute crises. It includes emergency counseling and practical assistance (such as food, clothes and other necessities) to stabilize the soldier’s situation and give a boost of support.
- Ongoing Therapy: Continuous psychological support through individual therapy, focusing on self care, mental health maintenance and trauma support. This is offered before during and after service as well as those who were called up for reserves during the war.
- Creative Arts Therapy which provides soldiers with a unique and effective way to process their experiences through artistic expression. This type of therapy is particularly beneficial for soldiers who may struggle to verbalize their emotions or trauma directly.
